How to choose the right pallet
Start with three questions: how heavy is the load, where does the pallet go, and does it need to come back? The answers point to the right format and grade.
- Road transport in Europe: euro pallets fit 33 per 13.6 m trailer. See pallets per truck.
- Heavy or bulky goods: industrial pallets (1200 × 1000 mm) spread the load over a larger deck.
- Chemicals and plastics: your customers will often ask for CP pallets.
- Export outside the EU: wooden pallets must be heat-treated to ISPM 15.
- Pallet exchange: only EPAL pallets are accepted in the EPAL pool.
- Tight budget, one-way shipments: used or reconditioned euro pallets.
