Quick answer: Reconditioned euro pallets are used 1200 × 800 mm pallets whose damaged parts have been replaced and checked. They cost less than new pallets and suit most transport and storage uses. FRAMPAL supplies them in bulk from 100 pallets.

How pallets are reconditioned

  1. Sorting

Incoming pallets are sorted and pallets beyond repair are taken out.

  2. Repair

Broken or split boards and damaged blocks are replaced with sound wood.

  3. Check

Each pallet is checked for stability, protruding nails and dimensions.

  4. Stacking

Approved pallets are stacked and ready for loading.

Reconditioned, used or new?

Reconditioned pallets sit between used and new. They are cheaper than new euro pallets and in better condition than unsorted used pallets, because every weak part has been dealt with.

  • Good fit: road transport, warehouse storage, one-way deliveries, internal logistics.
  • Choose new instead: for automated high-bay warehouses, food and pharma, and export.
  • Pallet exchange: EPAL requires repairs by licensed repairers for pallets to stay in the EPAL pool. For exchange, order EPAL pallets.

A sustainable choice

Repairing a pallet keeps most of its wood in use. Reconditioned pallets are a simple way to cut packaging waste without changing your logistics.

Reconditioned pallet questions

What does reconditioned mean?
The pallet has been used, sorted and repaired: broken boards or blocks are replaced and the pallet is checked before it is sold.
Can reconditioned pallets carry the same load as new ones?
A well-repaired pallet is fit for normal transport and storage. For maximum rated loads and automated systems we recommend new pallets.
Are reconditioned pallets ISPM 15 compliant?
Not by default. For exports outside the EU choose heat-treated pallets.
What is the minimum order?
100 pallets, which can be combined with other grades in one delivery.
